During the debate of the law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Constitutional Law the RA Judicial Code and the legislative package designing amendments and addenda to a number of enclosed laws the co-author Vladimir Vardanyan answered to the deputies’ questions.

As Ani Samsonyan has assessed, the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) will intervene in the work of the judges and the courts. “Have you come to conclusion as a result of professional debates for the necessity of such change or do you have a political decision?” the deputy said.

“The citizens against whom disciplinary violation has happened during the sitting with their participation, can apply to the SJC. We give an opportunity to the SJC to pass normative-legal acts to be able to more effectively regulate this or that item,” Vardanyan clarified.

Heriknaz Tigranyan tried to clarify if the restrictions of the rights for challenging or presenting evidence can deprive the sides of the trial from the opportunity of substantially submitting some judicial rights.

Vladimir Vardanyan specified: “It relates to regularly speculating the same right during the same sitting. Eventually, we would like justice or advocacy, which is led by delaying only the case? There are cases that last 10-15 years. Of course, the judge should be meticulous in the execution of this right and distinctly understand if there is speculation or not.”
